SPRING SOFTBALL is back for 2026!

Our spring teams will be focused on developing skills at a highly competitive level through increased training, camps/clinics to focus on development, and playing in a competitive environment.

​Our 2026 Spring Teams will compete in a travel ball style schedule featuring league games plus potential weekend tournaments.

AGE GROUPS

8u

Grades 3-5 (10u)

Junior High Grades 6-7 (12u)

Junior High Grades 7-8 (14u)

**Players may play up a division, but not down.**

Our teams will be primarily focused on students at Defiance Schools.

TRYOUT INFORMATION

There are two tryout sessions. Players only need to attend ONE.

​SESSION 1:

Tuesday, December 16th

8u & Grades 3-5: 6:30-7:30pm

Grades 6-8: 8:00-9:00pm

 

SESSION 2:

Saturday, December 20th

8u & Grades 3-5: 2:30-3:30pm

Grades 6-8: 4:30-5:30pm

 

CHECK-IN: Begins 30 minutes prior to session start time.

LOCATION: Tryout sessions will be held at the Niese Center at Defiance High School. Please park around the back of the bowling alley and enter from the back of the building.

Players should be prepared to field, throw, hit, and run.

​LOCATIONS

League games will be at Diehl Park, and also at other ballparks around northwest Ohio. Some light travel should be expected.

​Weekend tournaments will be selected based on availability, but will be regional tournaments within a few hours.
