SPRING SOFTBALL is getting a new look for 2024!

Our spring teams will be focused on developing skills at a highly competitive level through increased training, camps/clinics to focus on development, and playing in a competitive environment.

​Our spring teams will play a competitive league schedule and 2-3 weekend tournaments.

​Our 2024 Spring Teams will compete in a travel ball style schedule featuring league games plus weekend tournaments.

AGE GROUP DIVISIONS

8u – 10u – 12u – 14u

​Age as of August 31, 2023.

**Players may play up a division, but not down.**

Our teams will be for students at schools in Defiance.

TRYOUT INFORMATION

TRYOUT SESSION 1:

Sunday, December 3rd

   8u & 10u: 5:30 – 6:30pm; Pitchers/Catchers: 6:30-7:00pm

   12u & 14u: 7:30 - 8:30pm; Pitchers/Catchers: 8:30-9:00pm

TRYOUT SESSION 2:

Tuesday, December 5th

   8u & 10u: 5:30 – 6:30pm; Pitchers/Catchers: 6:30-7:00pm

   12u & 14u: 7:30 - 8:30pm; Pitchers/Catchers: 8:30-9:00pm

Both tryout sessions will be held at the Niese Center at Defiance High School. Players should be prepared with cleats/shoes, gloves, and bats.

​Players should pre-register for a tryout session. Players should check-in at the tryout 10-15 minutes prior to the listed start time.

​LOCATIONS

League games will be at Diehl Park, and also at other ballparks around northwest Ohio. Some light travel should be expected.

​Weekend tournaments will be selected based on availability, but will be regional tournaments within a few hours.
